Managers Can Now View Attendance, Claim and Leave Reports
 
We’ve rolled out a new improvement to increase visibility with less time spent requesting reports via admins.
Managers can view Attendance (Hadir), Claims, and Leave reports directly after the settings enabled.
 
Why it matters
  • Less dependency on admins to export/share reports
  • Better day-to-day oversight for managers
 
Important: Admin setting required
This feature is OFF by default. Module admin/Full module admin must enable the setting to allow manager access to these reports.
Where to update?
  • Go to Admin & Access > Manager Access, you will see a list of settings to grant the permission for the manager
 
Who can enable the access?
The available settings depend on your admin role:
  • HR Admin → Can enable access to the Leave Report
  • Claims Admin → Can enable access to the Claim Report
  • Hadir Admin → Can enable access to the Attendance Report
  • HR + Claims + Hadir Admin → Can enable access to all available reports

Statutory Updates: PERKESO
Act 800 Amendment:
Faster return-to-work support for insured employees
 
PERKESO has announced amendments to the Employment Insurance System Act 2017 (Act 800), effective 1 October 2026. The changes improve support for insured employees who lose their jobs and help them return to work faster.
 
4 key improvements
  • Early Re-employment Allowance (EBSA): Increased to 50% of the remaining Job Search Allowance (EMP) balance, up from 25%
  • Training Allowance: RM30 per day
  • Training Fees: Up to RM7,000, covered by EIS
  • Mobility Assistance Allowance: RM1,000 one-off for insured persons who lost their job and take up new employment more than 100km away
 
What this means for HR
  • Keep monthly EIS contributions accurate and on time, because these benefits depend on them. Kakitangan.com calculates EIS contributions automatically in every payroll run.
  • If an employee's employment ends involuntarily, let them know about these benefits and point them to PERKESO's MYFutureJobs for job matching, career advisory, reskilling and labour market insights.
