1. Preparation of EA form within seconds with Kakitangan.com

 

It's January 2025 so this is the time you need to get ready your employee's EA form. 

 

If you have been using Kakitangan.com last year, then generating and email EA forms to all of your employees will take only seconds to complete! 

 

But if you only started using middle or end of the year 2024, you can still import the aggregate payroll data into your Kakitangan.com's account.

 

Once you have completed the payroll data for last year, you may download the e-Data Praisi and submit to your MyTax account. After that, you can send the EA forms to your employees.

2. Text files for CP22, CP22A, CP22B 

 

We have added text files for CP22, CP22A, and CP22B and you may find it in Payroll, under Forms. 

 

Simply head over to Payroll > Forms > select the form you wish to dowload

CP22B is specifically intended for public sector employees, such as those working in government roles. 

 

3. Fixed allowance to be pro-rated

 

All fixed allowances can now be calculated on a pro-rated basis once the settings are enabled.

 

This will affect employees who have not completed a full month of service, such as new joiners, employees on unpaid leave, or terminated employees.

4. Implementation date of Minimum Wage Order 2024 - 1 February 2025

 

Are you ready for the implementation of Minimum Wage Order 2024? One more week to ensure all your employees' wages are in compliance. 

 

Remember, if your company falls under below category, you must ensure all employees' wages meet the minimum of RM1,700. This requirement is applicable to all employers in Malaysia.

 

  • Employers who have five employees or more; and
  • Employers categorized as conducting professional activities under the Malaysia Standard Classification of Occupations 2020 ("MASCO Employers") regardless of the number of employees they have.

 

If your company does not fall in the above category, then the implementation date will be 1 August 2025. 

 

 

You can refer to below on your next action:

 

  1. On your Kakitangan.com's account, go to Users page, review each employee's Compensation to see if their Salary is at least RM1,700;
  2. Another faster way, that you may also click on "Export Team Data" on Users page and check on the Salary column in the excel file;
  3. If you are paying a fixed OT rate, ensure your hourly rate (before multiplying 1.5/2.0/3.0) is at least RM8.72.

 

Once you have done all of the above, the salary calculation and OT calculation will be automated (via Hadir E Attendance module) and
